Recent police patrols in Clerkenwell Exmouth Market has shown an increase in Anti-Social Behaviour in relation to pedal cycles theft.

As a ward priority, Safer Neighbourhood Team Clerkenwell is taking positive action to address local community concerns to detect, prevent, deter criminal behaviour, bringing offenders to justice, and providing better support and guidance for our local community.

We are working in partnership with Islington Council and local businesses to set up a bike marking event at Exmouth Market on 27 August 2025 at 10:30 AM - 1:30PM. Get your Bike security marked, registered and crime prevention advice from police experts.

By marking your bike with a unique identifier and registering it on the national database, this can act as a deterrent to theft and increase the likelihood if it being returned if stolen.
